Spiced Holiday Jam
This recipe is perfect for your Thanksgiving or Christmas feasts.

- 6 whole cloves
- 1 star anise
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 6 allspice
- 16 oz cranberries
- 16 oz strawberries
- 3 apples
- 6 cups sugar
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup water
- 2 pouches pectin
Place whole spices in a spice bag (a piece of muslin works well).
Add to a large pot with chopped fruits, water, sugar, and lemon juice. Simmer until the fruits break down.
Strain the mixture into a clean pot. Add the pectin and bring to the boil for 2 minutes.
Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars. Secure the lids finger tight.
Add the jars to a large pot and cover with hot water. Bring the water to a boil, and once at a rolling boil, time the process for 10 minutes.
Remove the jars from the water and set aside to cool down overnight.
Label and store.
